Antique Silver Half Guard Chain, Textured Victorian chain with Hanging dog clip clasp and Bolt Ring

Impressive in its simplicity, this fancy link long guard chain has been beautifully crafted from 800. The links have been hammered into a repeating textured cable chain pattern. This half guard features a hanging bolt ring and an old style dog clip clasp which can be used to attach a pendant or locket. It looks fabulous worn as a long sautoir or can be wrapped around the wrist as a bracelet. It is a lovely example of Victorian silver work that is in very good condition with strong links and a functional bolt ring. The links are thin and as such lighter than the average long guard chain, making it very wearable and comfortable.
