This unique, thick and heavy locket has excellent details. We love the symmetrically engraved identical faces and the four interesting ribbed and scrolled borders. The interior opens to real space for a photo or special memory. Often these old pieces no longer have glass but if a picture is cut to side you can slide it into the cut out side frames. The locket closes well. There is a little gap between the edges, visible in photo four, but the locket does not open when worn. It would look lovely on a long guard chain or watch chain, as pictured.
