Antique Silver Pill Box Pendant with Vermeil Garland Wreath c. 1900

I've never seen a pill box pendant quite like this before. Featuring a unique shape, this round pillbox pendant is small, wide, and filled with the most adorable details. Featuring wreath embellishments which have been gold plated both on the body of the pendant and the lid, the pill box closes with a secure snap from the top. The chunky shape is offset by the delicate features and makes for a lovely combination. It is lightly dented, consistent with age, but in otherwise excellent condition. The interior has been gold washed and it is hallmarked on the lid for 800 silver purity with two boar's head hallmarks, visible in photo ten. As it a pillbox pendant and not a powder box pendant, there is no interior mirror. It would make a great addition to any collection.
