Antique Victorian Belle Epoque Silver Chain Necklace

This lovely long silver chain is the perfect length. Likely cut down from a long guard chain, it has been beautifully crafted to make a three dimensional effect and remains in excellent condition. This is a sought after style, and for good reason. It's impressive to think that such an intricate design was created without the use of modern tools and this chain miraculously does not have squished or disfigured links. The chain has accumulated a patina of time as it makes the features pop and stands as a unique testament to the history of the piece. Although the hallmarks have been worn with time the chain has been tested for a minimum 800 silver purity, standard for the period.
