This fantastic French chain is made from high quality 800 silver, hallmarked with a boar's head. It has a very interesting interlinking circles design which plays with smooth and textured links. It manages to combine strength and refined craftsmanship. Even more impressive is the knowledge that the chain was crafted by hand. It is impossible to find such designs in modern jewelry as they are too expensive for mass reproduction.
Likely cut down from a long sautoir, this lovely chain is now the perfect length to attach a pendant. It would look great with a chunky Victorian locket. Celebrate the past with this beautiful piece of history.
