Art Deco Gold Filled Drapery Necklace, Antique French Bi-color drapery c. 1920

This beautiful drapery necklace features six decorative shield links in a distinct Art Deco style. Each link and connecting chain has been inspected to verify that it is strong and in good working order. The drapery closes at the neck with a spring ring which is in good working condition. There is light gold loss to some links consistent with age and wear. The white gold of the shields contrasts beautifully with the yellow gold. Between each shield hangs an imitation pearl, some of which have lost their pearlescence but still add an extra elegance to the piece. Drapery necklaces such as this one are often difficult to find as they are in high demand. I've priced the necklace to reflect its minor defaults but it is still in good condition and would look lovely draped across any neck.
