This stunning Art Nouveau silver locket features grape and leaf repousse work on the front and reverse. You can see the silversmith's work from the interior, where the design is lightly tarnished making the it really stand out. Using a classic early 20th century top open design, the locket closes securely and firmly to safely store your pictures or a special memory. Although one frame has been lost to time, the other remains. In excellent antique condition, the locket closes with a snap and has some light micro-scratches to the silver but no denting. A remarkable, beautiful historic piece that really showcases the beauty of Art Nouveau style.
