Art Nouveau Silver Powder Box Pendant, Antique Jugendstil Powder Box Pendant c. 1900

This gorgeous little powder box pendant is German in origin, marked with a crown and the purity 800 on the interior lid. Jugendstil in style, the German counterpart to the Art Nouveau movement, it features a symmetrical round design of boughs on the lid and an interior gold wash. We love the braided silver which has been used to secure the interior mirror. The powder box closes well and is in good condition, with light signs of wear such as dents and micro-scratches to the pendant, visible in photos. The interior mirror has very light fogging and foxing, but nothing which prevents it from being used. It would make a very pretty addition to any collection.
