Art Nouveau Solid 18K Gold Mistletoe Pendant Necklace c. 1900

Beautiful and delicate, this pendant necklace holds a sculpted design of curved lines and mistletoe, embedded with two small rose cut diamonds and centered with a synthetic sapphire. Crafted around the turn of the century, it is a gorgeous example of the French Art Nouveau movement. The central pendant is connected to a chain of flat navette links with interior filigree work. Together the chain and pendant make a unique and rare combination that is sure to be a showstopping piece for any occasion.

CONDITION NOTES:
The clasp is a replacement with good tension and alignment but a slightly yellower color since it hasn't had a chance to develop the same lovely butter, old gold patina as the rest of the chain. The link are strong and in good condition but you will need to avoid any sudden tugs.
