This absolutely stunning Lily of the Valley slide pendant mirror is from the Art Nouveau period and dates from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Hallmarked with a boar's head, it carries a minimum 800/1000 guarantee. It features two interior mirrors with a beveled glass frame. Both mirrors show only very light wear with no foxing or fogging. The Lily of the Valley motif is visible on both sides with light wear to the silver consistent with age; there are some micro-scratches and very small indentations, but nothing noticeable. Lily of the Valley represented a "return to happiness" as the flowers bloom in early Spring. It's one of the loveliest and finest examples of Art Nouveau work that I've come across. It would look simply delightful on a long guard chain but is sure to turn heads however it is worn.
