This gorgeous Edwardian photo locket features a double sided glass and reed and cross hatch frame. Two colors of gold have been used to decorate the piece: one which is a rich coppery gold and the crosshatches in a complementary yellow gold. This adds some lovely contrast and classic Edwardian style. This piece is larger than I often see and measures an impressive 3.1 cm in diameter. The top twists off and can be filled with pictures or dried flowers. It is unlikely to be able to fit gemstones and is more suitable for flat tokens.
CONDITION NOTES:
The screw top works well and the pieces of glass are thick and lightly beveled. They have wear to the edges and some impacts to the glass frame, visible in photos and the video. There are no large scratches.
