Oh my! It's hard to beat this absolutely beautiful specialty long guard chain design. Delicate, feminine and refined the links are crafted from high quality 800 silver and hallmarked with a boar's head, indicating the piece was assayed in Paris. These lovely pieces have often been divided up into smaller sections to fit the fashions of the time, so it's an even sweeter treat to find one in it's full original length of an impressive 194 cm/76 inches! The chain even has an original bolt ring in very good working condition with good tension and alignment. Note that it has a unique Victorian 'half bolt' design which we don't see in spring rings nowadays. of course, the links are also magnificent. Featuring floral lozenge links mixed with round filigree links, it boasts many of the most popular Belle Epoque designs. Don't miss out on this rare beauty.

The links have been inspected and are strong. The filigree is intact and no pieces are missing. The floral navette links are a bit delicate and can bend out of shape if pressure is applied to them but if you treat the chain with care it should accompany you for many years.
