French Art Deco 18K Solid Gold Diamond Ring with Calibrated Rubies, Belle Epoque Engagment Ring c.1920

Unique and one of a kind, I love the way the calibrated rubies frame this stunning early Art Deco ring. The central diamond is accented with a geometric diamond that fans out on the top and bottom with smaller diamonds. The stones measure in size from 2.7 mm across for the main stone to approximately 1.2 mm for the smallest accent stones inside the navette. The rubies are likely synthetic, calibrated to frame the central design and adding a lovely touch of color. The simple gold band is accented by two more small diamonds. Sized to a European size 53 FR and a US size 6.5, I do not see evidence of resizing to the band.

CONDITION NOTES:
The ring is in very good condition with wear condition in line with age and use. There are micro-scratches to the gold but the stone are all well set with no obvious chips or scratches. The ring has a lot of life left if treated with care.
