Original Box - Antique 18k Beveled Glass Locket with Reed and Cross Hatch Frame in Original Box, French Shaker Locket
What treasure will you guard preciously with this stunning round Edwardian locket. Framed in a reed and cross hatch yellow gold frame, symbolic of affection and fidelity, are two expertly cut beveled glass pieces which can be used to guard a piece of lace from a baptism, flowers from a wedding bouquet, or maybe a piece of lavender from a beloved trip. The details on these old pieces never disappoint and we love the contrast between the rich, buttery gold of the frame and the lighter gold crosshatch. These lovely lockets are getting harder and harder to find in good condition as glass is so fragile and with time there are far fewer available. This one is in excellent condition and comes in the original box. It was likely never even used as the glass is scratch free.
