Rose Gold Filled Book Chain Necklace with Box Clasp c. 1880

This lovely Victorian book chain features fancy chain links which are connected by a central oval, allowing for an articulated movement. The bracelet has the original antique box clasp closure which remains functional. The chain is crated from high quality rose gold fill over copper, although no hallmark remains.

CONDITION NOTES:
Some of the gold fill has been lost to time and there are micro-scratches but the links are strong and in excellent condition. The closure is also secure.
