This absolutely stunning Lily of the Valley locket is from the Art Nouveau period and dates from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Hallmarked with a boar's head, it carries a minimum 800/1000 guarantee. Using a classic early 20th century top open design, the locket closes securely and firmly to safely store your pictures or a special memory. The Lily of the Valley motif is visible on both sides with light wear to the silver consistent with age; there are some micro-scratches and very small indentations, but nothing noticeable. Lily of the Valley represented a "return to happiness" as the flowers bloom in early Spring. It would look simply delightful on a long guard chain but is sure to turn heads however it is worn.
CONDITION NOTES:
There are light dents to the locket, visible in photos and the video. The interior is black and features two original frames, but no glass or cellophane photo covers. The locket closes securely.
