This charming and unique hexagonal locket was crafted in the Victorian period and features a thick, beveled glass partition to keep your pictures or memories safely tucked away. The front is decorated with a flower, set with half seed pearls, while a blank back create a canvas for engraving or personalization. The locket has a sturdy bail and is small enough to be used a charm on a bracelet or worn on a thin chain to be tucked inside a shirt close to the heart.
CONDITION NOTES:
The locket is in very good condition for age. One of the pearls has been replaced and is a very slightly brighter white than the others. The locket closes with a satisfying snap and has a strong hinge. There is light denting to the front and reverse, consistent with age and use and which stands as a testament to the history of the piece.
