Is there anything more beautiful than a rose cut? These stunning diamond drop earrings are crafted from rich and buttery 18k gold, hallmarked with a horse head, a departmental hallmark in use from 1838-1919. The diamond slivers are securely fastened in a crowned prong silver setting, typical of the era. These earrings are deliciously chunky and strong, with a lever back hinge system. There is one solder mark where a hinge was repaired, visible in photo nine. The earrings have good alignment and latch well so you will not lose this one of a kind statement piece. A real beauty that becomes rarer with the passing time. They would make the perfect 'something old' or a lovely Christmas gift.
