This gorgeous Victorian heart pendant necklace is the perfect size for every day wear. From the late 1800s or early 1900s, it is strong and heavy, made of at least 800 silver and hallmarked on the bail. The pendant opens to reveal place for photos or a special trinket or memory. The front is engraved with a simple forget-me-not flower while the reverse is smooth for personalization or engraving. The hinge is slightly loose and will need to be handled with care but the locket closes with a satisfying snap and will still be able to accompany you for many years to come. The antique silver chain matches the patina that time has bestowed upon the pendant, making them very complimentary. It is also a very comfortable length with strong links. A lovely combination not to be missed.
